Heart Well Forum at Baylor is a monthly meeting where heart and vascular patients and their family members assemble at Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital for a heart-healthy lunch and hear a physician on the medical staff at Baylor or other health care educator speak on a variety of topics related to heart and vascular disease.
Leap For Life®
Scheduled regularly throughout the year.
Lifestyle Education Awareness Program (Leap For Life®) is a secondary prevention education program developed for persons identified with risk factors for cardiovascular disease. The program provides education for cardiovascular patients on nutrition, exercise, cardiovascular procedures and medications, and stress management. Workshops are open to the public.

Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) Education Class and Support Group
A group setting allowing patients with newly implanted devices and their significant others an opportunity to tell stories and receive detailed information regarding their ICD. Education and open discussion regarding: cardiac disease, medications, lifestyle changes and understanding your device.
PVD Screening
Scheduled regularly throughout the year.
Did you know that people with poor blood flow in the arteries outside the heart, a condition called peripheral arterial disease (PAD), are 3 to 4 times more likely to die of a heart attack or stroke? Although it can cause pain or cramping in the legs when walking, only about 1 in 10 people have these symptoms. Knowing your risks can keep PAD from devastating your life.
