We offer you the opportunity to conduct advanced cardiac research and take advantage of specialty courses and individualized orientations. The opportunities at Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital can connect you with advanced ways to learn and grow. There are numerous possibilities for cross-training, as well as continuing education classes.
Some of the programs we offer:
- Current Med/Surg nurses and graduate nurses can attend either a 10- to 14-week critical care course or an eight- to 10-week Cardiovascular Essentials course. Plus, RNs can be ACLS-certified as part of their specialty courses.
- Experienced nurses receive individualized orientation for their area of specialty.
Additionally, we have what is known as "The Baylor Plan," which offers you the opportunity to work two 12-hour weekend shifts and receive a competitive salary and be eligible for all Baylor benefit plans.
