We believe empowerment through education is an essential part of patient care here at Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital. That's why we provide avenues for patients and families to learn about their conditions, tests, treatments, and how to live a healthier lifestyle.

Information at Your Fingertips

Our AT&T Community Resource Center is located inside the Baylor Heart and Vascular Institute - on the ground floor of Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital - and is equipped with 6 interactive kiosks. They provide education via simple, touch-screen technology. You can view such videos as "Understanding your angiogram" and "Living with a pacemaker." We also have 2 general-use computers with Internet access and a wide variety of consumer health reference guides and books so families can learn at their own pace. Additionally, we offer wireless Internet access throughout the facility.

We host community health programs and screenings throughout the year in our auditorium and two classrooms, and encourage you and your family to participate. The Institute offers free educational brochures as well.
