Electrophysiology and Pacemaker Labs
The electrophysiologists on the medical staff at

are considered leaders and pioneers in the fastest growing field in cardiology. Our team is dedicated to providing quality treatments for complex rhythm disorders and management. Areas of expertise include atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmia ablations, and cardiac resynchronization therapy. We reinvest in innovative modalities such as magnetic navigation and 3-dimensional cardiac mapping to optimize clinical outcomes for our patients.
Non-Invasive Cardiology

Cardiology services include transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, pharmacological and exercise stress tests, and nuclear cardiology. Vascular services include arterial and venous vascular imaging and doppler studies, segmental pressures, and ankle-brachial index.
Interventional Cardiology

features one of the largest interventional cardiology department in the North Texas region and is staffed with specialists in the management of patients needing emergent cardiac intervention, such as those with unstable angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction and cardiogenic shock.
Cardiac Surgery
The world-renowned surgeons on our medical staff have the training and expertise to help patients most other heart centers cannot treat. The cardiac surgery team at

Patient-Focused Research
Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital participates in
extensive patient-focused research. We have more than 80 ongoing
studies that include new pacemaker and defibrillator technology,
drug-eluting stents, hypertension and lipid medications, laser-assisted
lead extraction, and catheter ablation for supraventricular and ventricular

Physician Liaison Program
The Physician Liaison Program at Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital (BHVH) establishes and
promote positive relationships between BHVH physicians within the Baylor Scott & White Health System,
the community, and staff. Our physician liaison, Brittany Rigacci, serves as a personal contact and
resource for physicians and other healthcare providers to address questions, issues or concerns,
and to provide education about services offered at BHVH.
Coordinating CME
The physician liaison will also coordinate continuing medical education (CME) programs by helping to identify CME needs and assist in the scheduling of CME events.
